Conceptual artist Dionysios transforms the everyday into art | 09 Aug. 2025, 10:00

Can an old ’80s Datsun pickup be transformed into a striking work of art? “In contemporary art, everything is open,” says Dionysios.

This Saturday, 09 August at 10:00 (Athens time), the talented multidisciplinary Greek artist Dionysios (Kehayioglou) steps away for a moment from the vibrant pace of Paris and his studio in Ancient Olympia to join the program “Ariadni’s Thread” on Voice of Greece, sharing his singular way of seeing the world.

Blending figurative and interactive elements, Dionysios invites the audience into active engagement. He speaks about his work, design as philosophy, installation as experience, chance as inspiration, and creation as a tool for reflection and transformation.

An encounter where aesthetics meets the unexpected — and the everyday is reimagined as art.

Produced and presented by Ariadni-Sofia Kouri

Broadcast: Saturday 09.08.2025, 10:00 Athens time
