Ηλεκτρονική εκστρατεία με στόχο να ωθήσει το αμερικανικό υπουργείο Εξωτερικών να στείλει ένα πιο ξεκάθαρο μήνυμα υποστήριξης στην Ελλάδα για την κρίση στα σύνορα του Έβρου ξεκίνησε το Συμβούλιο Ελληνοαμερικανικής Ηγεσίας (HALC). Μέσα από την ηλεκτρονική της πλατφόρμα, η ελληνοαμερικανική οργάνωση καλεί τους υποστηρικτές και τα μέλη της να υπογράψουν και να στείλουν στο Στέιτ Ντιπάρτμεντ την επίσημη επιστολή του HALC.
Ειδικότερα, το κείμενο της επιστολής αναφέρει: «Έχετε υπάρξει ξεκάθαροι για τον ρόλο της Ελλάδας ως πυλώνα σταθερότητας. Αυτή τη στιγμή που οι ενέργειες της Τουρκίας δημιουργούν τον κίνδυνο να αποσταθεροποιηθεί η Ελλάδα, είναι πιο σημαντικό από ποτέ να σταθούμε δίπλα στην Ελλάδα και να μην αφήσουμε τους ανθρώπους της να αισθανθούν ότι έχουν βρεθεί μόνοι τους απέναντι σε έναν υβριδικό πόλεμο», καταλήγει η επιστολή.
