This Sunday, June 1st, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Athens time, tune in to the English-language show “Infinitely Curious” on Voice of Greece, hosted by Katerina Batzaki, and meet Jack Forrey – a Greek-American who has survived cancer three times and now channels his experience into building something new on unfamiliar ground.

Against all odds, Forrey has founded Aegean Elite, Greece’s first American football club, based in Athens. His initiative is driven by values of resilience, youth empowerment, and the belief in second chances.

From the hospital bed to the playing field, Forrey’s journey highlights the power of sport to heal, inspire, and bring communities together.
