On Saturday, 24 January 2026, at 08:00 (Athens time), Captain Nikolaos Pentheroudakis, founder and CEO of a shipbroking and maritime consulting company, will be a guest on the program “Fair Winds and Following Seas – Saturday Shift” with Antonis Karagiannakis on Voice of Greece.
Captain Pentheroudakis will speak about his life at sea and the decision that led him to follow a career in shipping and maritime affairs. He will recount the story of his first voyage and trace his professional path aboard ships, focusing on his gradual transition into shipbroking—an evolution marked by perseverance, personal sacrifice, hard work, and continuous study, ultimately leading to professional recognition and success.
Originally from Rethymno, Nikolaos Pentheroudakis has served as President of the Association of Arbitrators and as President of the Hellenic Federation of Shipbrokers and Shipping Agents. He has also delivered lectures at the Maritime Studies Departments of the University of Piraeus and the University of the Aegean, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, and has conducted training seminars for staff of major private companies.
