On Sunday, 03 May 2026, from 12:00 to 14:00 (Athens time), the Voice of Greece program “Our Town” welcomes to the studio composer and singer-songwriter Giannis Nikolaou.
In a wide-ranging conversation with Themis Rodamitis, the guest will reflect on his long and remarkable journey in Greek song. He will speak about his collaborations, the poetry he loves—much of which he has set to music—as well as his acclaimed adaptations of works by leading Greek composers. Special mention will be made of the formation of the group Lathepilavates, which he co-founded with Pantelis Thalassinos.
He will also talk about his social concerns, the cities he holds dear, the value of storytelling and play in life, and the importance of optimism and hope, with particular emphasis on his new album “Eso Topia”.
The program will also feature contributions from Pantelis Thalassinos, Vasilis Skoulas, and emerging singer Ioanna Chatzidaki.
Giannis Nikolaou will perform live in the studio, accompanying himself on guitar, presenting songs from both the Greek and international repertoire. Tune in!
