Social Waste present their new album "Rebelde" | 14 June 2025, 23:00

On Saturday, 14 June 2025, at 23:00 Athens time, Ariadni-Sofia Kouri welcomes Social Waste to the Voice of Greece studio for the presentation of their new album, “Rebelde”.

Leonidas Oikonomakis (lyrics & rap), Giorgos Nikas (lyrics, music, arrangements), Christos Staikos (lyrics, rap, drums programming), and Alexandros Gavras (drums) make a powerful return to the music scene five years after their last release, reintroducing themselves to listeners with their trademark militant spirit intact.

The group will speak about their new record—a mosaic rich in rhythmic variety and raw Mediterranean energy, where the Pizzica of Southern Italy meets driving Arabic 4/4 beats, the polyphony of Epirus and Asia Minor melodic forms fuse with aggressive rap flows backed by bagpipes, and angular grooves ground the backbeat in a musically and emotionally charged journey.
