On Tuesday, 21 April 2026, at 17:00 Athens time, the program “We Stay Here”, hosted by Elena Karagianni, welcomes journalist Giorgos Gioukakis, creator of the documentary “7 Years, One Moment: The Trial of the Coup Instigators.”
This original television production revisits the landmark trial of those responsible for the Greek military coup, held in the summer of 1975 in a specially arranged courtroom within Korydallos Prison. Through testimony, archival material, and historical analysis, the documentary sheds light on a defining moment in modern Greek history.
Among those featured in the documentary are lawyer Alexandros Lykourezos, journalist Giorgos Lianis, historians Tasos Sakellaropoulos, Angela Karapanou and Stathis Koutrouvidis, as well as retired parliamentary stenographer Ilias Grekas.
