Journalist Nikolas Angelidis takes listeners on a journey through the storied past of Greek football, exploring the stadiums, the teams, and the numbered gates that have become sacred ground for generations of devoted supporters.
This special three-part edition of the program “Time in Greece” pays tribute to clubs across the country whose “Gate” – or Thyra – has become a symbol of identity and passion for organized fan groups.
Alongside these stories, the series uncovers the first official anthems of the teams — historic songs that echo the roots and pride of each club.
The tribute features 30 football teams from every division and region of Greece, weaving together their unique legacies and stadium cultures.
