Voice of Greece, ERT’s international radio service dedicated to Greeks around the world, pays heartfelt tribute to the songwriter, composer, and musician Dionysis Savvopoulos, who passed away on Tuesday, 21 October 2025.
Throughout Wednesday, 22 October, the station joins Greeks everywhere in saying goodbye to “Nionios” of Greek song — through landmark concerts and broadcasts drawn from its archives, as well as special programs reflecting on his life, his music, and the impact of his voice on generations of listeners.
