The Ship's Log
The following video was sent to the Voice of Greece by Captain Giannis Kougioumtzoglou. It was taken on M/V MONTECRISTO in January 2021 in the North Aegean, with south winds at 8 Beaufort. The 170.00 ton ship was carrying iron ore and was coming from the port of Yuzny in Ukraine. His destination was China’s Qingdao via the Suez Canal.
