The talented performer and actress, with a distinctive career in the arts and pioneering performances, discussed her new project “WOMEN’s Prayers,” where she will bring to life the “voices of women” from around the world. It is a tribute to women who were creators, poets, painters, actresses, singers, and who literally changed the world while also changing the position of women within it.
The guest talked about Billie Holiday, Rosa Eskenazi, Edith Piaf, Elis Regina, Nina Simone, and others. She shared how she blends African American and Brazilian music with European, Greek, Serafidi, Eastern, and Indian traditions.
