On Sunday, September 29, 2024, the show “Greeks of the World – Greece in the United Kingdom” hosted Marianthi Koutri, a young lawyer specializing in resolving international commercial disputes in the insurance and shipping sectors.
An alumna of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the University of Cambridge, where she completed her postgraduate studies, Marianthi Koutri works at an international law firm in London. She is currently involved in one of the most significant cases in the English courts, concerning the insurance dispute of more than 100 aircraft remaining in Russia following the war in Ukraine.
During the show, she shared her professional and academic journey, as well as the legal issues she is engaged with, including the decarbonization of shipping.
