Today, we will be concluding our week-long tribute to Eleftheriou with an emphasis on a younger generation of composers and songwriters who have been inspired by his lyrics. Specifically, we shall be listening to songs by, among others, Leonidas Maridakis, Zaharias Karounis, Nikos Zournis, Periklis Kanaris and Babis Stokas. This way, we want to shed light on just how timeless Eleftheriou’s art has been, having the capacity to communicate with a younger generation of creators and performers.
