The backbone of our track list today is a fantastic album composed by Panos Tzavellas titled Songs of Lament and Resurrection. Needless to say, these songs – plus a selection of other masterpieces from her long career – are performed by the golden voice of Katy Gray, who passed away two days ago at the age of 100. The record, released in 1983, includes solid, powerful folk creations by a songwriter who became known for his political and resistance songs.
