Greek Music Express: Film Music II – Giorgos Hatzinasios | 12 Dec. 2023

From the 1970s to the mid-1980s, Hatzinasios had gathered a wealth of experience in composing music for films, but those films had nothing to do with the atmosphere of Knock Out (Urge for Life), the 1986 Pavlos Tasios film whose soundtrack he was called upon to curate. Here everything is dark and direct – no romance, just rock. With his songs, performed by Pavlos Sidiropoulos, Vassilis Papakonstantinou, Maria Aristopoulou and Giannis Miliokas, Hatzinasios demonstrates his immense capacity to adjust his art to the needs of each film. Apart from this wild soundtrack, we are listening to atmospheric instrumentals from the movies Sweet Bunch and The Hook.
