Dimitris Poulikakos is a Greek singer, composer, actor, radio producer, writer, and translator of surrealist poetry and literature. He was born in Athens in January 1943 in a relatively wealthy bourgeois family. Dimitris Poulikakos participated in the publication of the landmark Pali magazine together with Nanos Valaoritis, Panagiotis Koutroubousis and others, with his own texts and translations. For many years he made radio broadcasts, calling himself Uncle Nontas. He was a member of the MGC, Hexadaktylos and Ah-Vah bands. He collaborated as a composer, performer, producer and musician with many other Greek rockers and bands, including Thanasis Gaifillias, Vlassis Bonatsos, Stavros Logaridis. He is considered one of the main representatives of Greek rock. His 1979 Crazy Love at Zografou concert is a milestone in Greek rock music history.
