We continue our tribute to poet Michalis Ganas and his contribution to Greek music by focusing on his collaboration with two grand female vocalists: smooth jazz lady Elli Paspala and folk diva Natasa Theodoridou. Most of the songs that marked the encounter of Ganas with these two renowned singers were composed by Evanthia Rempoutsika, one of the country’s leading composers for film music. The case of Theodoridou is particularly noteworthy, by the way; thanks to the melodies of Reboutsika and the lyrics of Ganas, Natasa made a U-turn in her discography and temporarily embraced the art song genre. The title of the album that the three of them co-created? “Eros, you don’t know how to love”.
