Today, we will be shedding light on one of the lesser-known albums of Mimis Plessas, titled: Lucian’s Dialogues. The lyrics are written by Costas Virvos. Our track list will also include some of the less popular songs of Plessas that I consider interesting and unjustifiably hidden. Lyricist Costas Virvos notes the following about Lucian’s Dialogues of the Dead: The multi-dimensional impact of Lucian encouraged me to turn to the incredible wealth of his texts and specifically his Dialogues of the Dead, in order to write the texts of a folk operetta. I spent a lot of time and effort trying hard, as I was afraid that I would betray my friend, Mimis Plessas. With his exquisite music, he responds that I did not betray him and I hope that you will also share this view.
