The week that ends here at GME was dedicated to the numerous songs that contain references to dancing – this essential element of Greek culture and identity. Today, we celebrate the presence of dance in the lyrics of art songs created by renowned songwriters such as Vangelis Germanos, Haris & Panos Katsimihas, and Dionysis Savvopoulos. Also, leading female vocalists such as Eleni Tsaligopoulou and Theodosia Stiga will be inviting us to look at the ‘dance of the stars’ and ‘join the dance’.
