Dionysis Tsaknis is a Greek composer, lyricist and singer. His first album was released in 1982, titled The Traveler’s Ballad. The following year he released his second album together with Sofia Vossou titled Kali Akroasi. This was followed by the albums Trito Mati in 1987, Ftaine Ta Tragoudia in 1989 and Fota Parakalo in 1990. Apart from his song collections, he has written music for many stage performances, TV series and movies. In 2001, Tsaknis released the album Playing With Two Orchestras, which contains live recordings of his works from a concert held at the Athens Concert Hall.
