Kyrinaios Papadimatos joined us on this episode for a not-only-visual presentation.
An exhibition with photographs of actors, revolutionaries, comedians, and famous and unknown women called “DIVAS” by Kyrinaios Papadimatos, in digital processing, where you have to stand against the painting and “read” it.
Kyrinaios Papadimatos is a director, editor, and screenwriter from ‘Stavrakos’ Hellenic Cinema School.
The paintings he exhibits are part of the project he was working on during the quarantine.
DIVAS: 11 paintings printed on 1.2mm thick MetalPrint material with a black wooden frame.
Each work will be printed in only two numbered copies.
@ ‘Eilissos’ Art and Culture Space , 6, Aglaonikis Str., Neos Kosmos, Athens.
My personal sense of the artist’s work:
The concept is brilliant, its aesthetic performance is unparalleled, romantic or more precisely, poetic, but with a sharp and painful expression. What is this concept? The last 15 years of the history of Greece.
Along with Kyrinaios Papadimatos, we have Vassilis Kritikos, artistic director of Eilissos, in the studio.
