We turn the calendars back a century and a year… On November 8, 1923, Adolf Hitler launched his first coup attempt. With a group of far-right National Socialists, they tried to seize a beer hall in Munich and overthrow the country’s government!
The dramatic events that followed, with local leaders switching sides as if changing shirts, went down in history… The coup failed, Hitler was arrested, but the lenient sentence he received became a springboard for his continued activities, his rise to power, and the bloodshed that engulfed the world a few years later.
