Dr. Ursula Vryzaki, a musicologist with a doctorate from the University of Athens, who lives and works in Berlin, was the guest on the show “Voices and Music” with Alexis Kostas.
Dr. Ursula Vrizaki was born in Athens. She took her first steps into the world of music at the age of nine. Initially, she studied piano and music theory, then horn, musicology, and psychology in Athens and Berlin.
She works in Berlin as a professor of music and psychology. Since December 2015, she has been directing the Greek-German Choir “Polyphonia” of Berlin. Through both her pedagogical and artistic work with the Greek-German choir, she aims to spread the wealth of Greek music in Berlin and to create cultural ties between Greece and Germany.
