WWF HELLAS Director Dimitris Karavellas speaks on “FAIR WINDS AND FOLLOWING SEAS” and VOICE OF GREECE, making a general assessment of the 9th World Sea Conference “Our Ocean Conference 2024” held in Athens last week.
“There are many commitments from many countries worldwide and of course Greece for the protection of our marine heritage. In his speech, our Prime Minister referred to the undertaking of 21 commitments (including two marine parks) for the protection and management of the Greek seas and coasts, with an estimated implementation budget of more than €780 million. euro, D. Karavellas said.
