“Voices and Music” welcomed live in the studio one of the most promising and well-rounded singer-songwriters of the younger generation, Alexandros Tsaprazis.
In a wide-ranging conversation filled with maturity, introspection, and a calm, understated tone, he showed us that great Greek songwriting has a past, a present, and above all, a very bright future.
We spoke about his early years and musical influences in the beautiful city of Veria, as well as his big move to Athens in pursuit of his artistic dreams.
He explained how the creative process functions as a mirror of self-discovery, memorably stating that “creation helps you come to terms with yourself.”
The evening’s most magical moment came when Alexandros picked up his guitar and performed a beautiful song live on air, instantly erasing the distance between himself and our listeners.
