Captain Dimos Zenebisis from Piraeus takes the helm on “Fair Winds and Following Seas”. He speaks about his lifelong bond with the sea — a relationship built over many years of service, beginning at the age of fifteen, when his mother signed his papers so he could embark with his uncle aboard the M/V Minos of Efthymiadis.
“My roots are from Paxoi, but I grew up and still live here in Piraeus. From a young age, I used to listen to seafaring stories — and that’s what inspired me to follow the maritime profession. I wanted to travel and see the world,” Captain Dimos tells us, among other things.
