Captain Dimos Zenebisis from Piraeus speaks on “Fair Winds and Following Seas”. Among other things, he talks about the many ports he has visited during his years at sea, sharing memories of difficult voyages, shore leaves, shifting operations, and long-haul crossings.
He also recounts an incredible story — a near case of sea piracy in the Aegean, off Falkonera, during a voyage from Piraeus to Heraklion in 1973 aboard the M/V Minos, when the ship was carrying four convicts from Avlona Prison to the prison of Alikarnassos in Crete.
