The Director of Studies at the Merchant Marine Academy of Macedonia (AEN Macedonia), Capt. Nikos Tsoulis, takes the helm of the program “Fair Winds & Following Seas” on Voice of Greece.
He speaks about the new academic year that has just begun at all Merchant Marine Academies, including his own, and the challenges they face.
“Our primary goal is to ensure that we have fully qualified and experienced teaching staff so that there are no delays, and that the Academies continue to produce capable seafarers and officers – professionals our shipping industry truly needs. Shipping offers many opportunities and prospects for advancement. It rewards those who are passionate about it and strive constantly to improve,” notes Capt. Nikos Tsoulis.
