An interesting conference on shipping, titled “Economy of the Sea – Opportunities and Challenges”, was organized by the Special Party Organization of New Democracy, featuring many engaging topics, discussions, and speakers.
The themes explored included Shipbuilding Economics, the seafaring profession and its people, the future of Greek shipping with new executives, ship technology, shipyards, shipping infrastructures, the ports of tomorrow, insularity, green development, and the blue economy – all presented by experts o the field of Greek shipping.
On “Fair Winds & Following Seas”, which covered the conference, we listen to the introductory speech and remarks of the Deputy Minister of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy, Mr. Stefanos Gkikas.
