Dimitris Katsounis, who emigrated to Canada eleven years ago, spoke about the harshest winter in recent years, the impressive organization of the Greek diaspora in Quebec, Canada–U.S. relations, and Canada’s business and economic ties with Greece, on Voice of Greece radio and the program Our Global Voice, hosted by Dimitris Kontogiannis.
Mr. Katsounis, who works for a major telecommunications/technology company in Montreal, emphasized that there are approximately 70,000 people of Greek origin there, and that the Community operates five full-day schools where the Greek language is taught on a daily basis.
