The Screaming Fly is an outstanding representative of Greece’s contemporary psychedelic rock scene. Their music, embedded into the best traditions of domestic and international rock, creates an environment of transcendence – timeless, powerful, ecstatic. Their 2019 album “Trip to Venus” was welcomed by critics as the new jewel of Greek rock ‘n’ roll. And their 2013 “Super Zero” LP remains one of my personal favourites.
