On the occasion of World Tourism Day, celebrated on 27 September, the program marks the day with the right kind of sonic luggage. Both in our travel spirit and in our musical choices, we insist on staying Greek.
As the meeting point for tonight’s journey, we set our sights on songs about cities of Greece—from Komotini by Thanasis Gaifyllias to Rethymno by Stavrianos, and from Thessaloniki as sung by Mikres Periplaniseis and Xembarkoi, to Chalkida by Dimitris Lidakis.
