The week that starts today, here at GME, is dedicated to swing covers of Greek originals – uplifting songs that carry the classics of the past into our modern era and introduce it to a younger audience. The format of all GME broadcasts this week will be the following: one song in its original recording, followed by the same song in its swing-inspired rendition. Today’s track list includes classics performed by, among others, Stratos Pagioumtzis, Vicky Mosholiou, Mary Linda, Nana Mouskouri and Giorgos Vasilakis, revisited by Apurimac, Vlassis Bonatsos, Kulamacus The Band, Stereomatic, Doros Dimosthenous, and The Burger Project.
