Ilia Kalfa is a student of orchestral conducting at the Athens Conservatoire, under the guidance of conductor Michalis Economou, with an academic background spanning both the arts and the sciences. She is a graduate of the Department of Physics at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and has been involved with music since the age of five, having pursued extensive studies in piano and advanced music theory.
