North Aegean Regional Governor Konstantinos Moutzouris takes the helm of Voice of Greece’s “Fair Winds and Following Seas.”
Speaking from Chios, an island with a rich maritime tradition, Moutzouris introduces us to the “Chios Festival.” Now in its fifth edition, the festival is organized on the island by the North Aegean Region. Its events bring together internationally renowned figures from history, science, academic research, business, shipping, the arts and culture.
Moutzouris also discusses the importance of shipping to Greece’s economy and his deep love of the sea, describing it as “everything.” As he notes, “I served the sea as a professor of harbor engineering at the National Technical University of Athens.”
