Pavlos Tsiakoumis on the program “Greece in Denmark” | 01 Feb. 2026

Pavlos Tsiakoumis is originally from Volos and has been living in Denmark for the past nine years. After completing his undergraduate studies at the Department of Mathematics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, he moved abroad to pursue postgraduate studies. He completed a Master’s degree at the University of Copenhagen, specialising in Theoretical Mathematics and Classical Differential Geometry.

In recent years, he has been working as a Data Analyst, using data to understand complex challenges and support evidence-based decision-making. At the same time, he is actively involved in social and volunteer work with the Hellenic Guides Association, where he has served both as a leader of groups of children and young people—offering opportunities for personal development, social engagement, and life in nature—and in positions of responsibility at an international level.

As a Volunteer Leader for the European Region of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS), he represents Guides and Scouts from across Europe in European forums and institutions, including the European Youth Forum and the European Parliament.

He currently works at Too Good To Go, the world’s largest company dedicated to combating food waste. Through his role, he contributes data analysis to decision-making processes that strengthen the company’s environmental and social impact, supporting a mission directly linked to environmental protection.

His professional path in sustainable development is a natural continuation of his many years of volunteer engagement in Guiding, where environmental awareness and collective responsibility were not abstract principles, but everyday practice.
