Sotiria Athanasiadou is a founding member and CEO of Anorit Medical, an innovative startup based in Copenhagen. Anorit Medical focuses on developing an automatic air and oxygen delivery device aimed at increasing survival rates from cardiac arrest.
Mrs. Athanasiadou is a graduate of the School of Pharmacy at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where she was a founding member of the student volunteer group ATP – Aristotle Team of Pharmacy. Since 2017, she has lived in Denmark, where she completed her master’s degree in the “Medicines and Society” program at the University of Copenhagen. She has worked for 6 years in one of Denmark’s largest medical device companies, gaining experience in various sectors of the industry.
In 2023, with a scholarship, she attended the BioMedical Design program, an innovation program in health sciences funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation, through which the need was identified, and the idea for the Anorit Medical startup was born.
