It is one of the most historic sports clubs in Greece. Founded 123 years ago, in the distant year of 1903, it represents a true treasure for the sports life of Xanthi and the wider region.
Nikolas Angelidis and the program “Time in Greece” have prepared—after extensive research—a tribute to the history and activity of Orfeas Xanthi, tracing its journey through the national and local leagues, as well as the period when the club was dissolved in order for AO Xanthi to be created, a team that went on to distinguish itself for decades in the First Division.
