Spyridon Zolotas, Vice President of RINA Marine, spoke to Voice of Greece and “Fair Winds and Following Seas.”
Reflecting on the international significance of Greek shipping, he noted:
“Greek merchant shipping is universal in scope and global in reach, something clearly demonstrated at Posidonia. Greek shipping is in dialogue with stakeholders from around the world about the future of the industry and the challenges ahead—from vessel categories and regulations to decarbonization, safety, and many other issues. These topics will keep us fully engaged in the years to come. We must address them with clarity, innovation, progress, and realism.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Mr. Zolotas emphasized Greece’s enduring maritime outlook:
“Greece has always kept its eyes on the future and on progress. Its success in the global maritime arena is built on hard work, trusted relationships, and foresight. Seafaring is part of the Greek DNA—it is a way of life. That is how we were raised, and we continue to prove it every day.”
