The show Heliotrope of June 13 with Giannis Papoutsakis was dedicated to our great poet of love and peace Nikiforos Vrettakos (1912-1991)!
The tribute includes a RARE recording! The interview given to him by our great poet on the occasion of the death of his friend, fellow countryman, fellow traveler, and fellow fighter Yiannis Ritsos, a few days after the death of the poet who wrote Romiosini (11/11/1990). On this interview, Vrettakos talks about Ritsos as he knew him since they were teenagers in Gytheio, about the difficult years of his life marked by illness and persecution, as well as about the dreams of the entire generation of 1930s poets. Words filled with love and pain!
