“Greeks Around the World” is the title of the new show that becomes part of the program of the “Voice of Greece”.
Greeks living abroad will curate this show introducing us to our compatriots and their activities, broadcasting from the country where they live.
We begin with the Greeks of Denmark.
“Greece in Denmark” is the title of the first episode of the show on ERT’s global radio “The Voice of Greece”.
The archaeologist and president of the Greek Society in Denmark Elina Stamatatou introduces us to the Greeks who live and work in Denmark.
The world-famous composer Christos Farmakis is her guest on Sunday, July 24 from 10:00 to 11:00 (Greece local time). Christos Farmakis lives and works in Copenhagen. He has composed music for symphonic orchestras and for a variety of musical and vocal ensembles. His works have been presented at many festivals, in concerts and on the radio, in most European countries, in China,
in the USA, in South America as well as at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen.
“Voice of Greece” is even now, the link that connects the Greek Diaspora with the homeland, and in this context, the show “Greeks Around the World” becomes a part of it and will be broadcast on the first Sunday of every month.
