Penelope Kourtzi, author of the novel “The Girl with the Snail”, on which the much-loved ERT TV series “The Beach” was based, is the person of the week, on Mina Ralli’s show on Voice of Greece.

Mrs. Kourtzi shares her inspiration for the plot of the novel, which unfolds in Matala, but also what inspires her in her daily life.

She also shares with us her thoughts on the TV adaptation of the book and reveals what the series has in store for us, which has been airing since early September on ERT 1, Ertflix and Ert World and has already endeared itself with the television audience.
