SCHEDULE VOICE OF GREECE

Author Miltos Antoniadis and editor Thomas Tseronis on ”Saturday Shift” | 09.12.2023, 08.00

Author Miltos Antoniadis and publisher Thomas Tseronis are the guests of “FAIR WINDS AND FOLLOWING SEAS-WEEKEND SHIFT” on VOICE OF GREECE, curated and presented by Antonis Karagiannakis on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. Greece local time (with a rerun at 8:00 p.m.).

Miltos Antoniadis for his new book that has just been released titled “AEGEAN HOUR ZERO-Dark Sky” and for his previous one “AEGEAN HOUR ZERO – First Blood”, characteristically mentions that “in the research and discussions I have had with many people of the sea, the Navy and the Merchant Marine, many good friendships have been created. These people are exceptional, enjoyable, authentic who have given a lot to our country, Greece, with all that they have accomplished and deserve immense respect and a thank you”. Miltos Antoniadis also tells us that he is working on setting up this trilogy on imaginary Greek-Turkish relations in 2029 around the Aegean, stressing that “in the field of diplomacy I have put one of the most popular characters, that of the Greek Foreign Minister”.

For his part, the publisher of the publishing company Memento, Thomas Tseronis, states that “a book that has the word Aegean in its title is sure to have in it plenty of sea and seafarers”. Mr. Tseronis also emphasizes that “Greeks have stopped reading like they did in the past. The words, images, stories printed on lifeless paper can convey infinite feelings and thoughts and this is something that can only be offered in books. That’s the magic of books. But technology and screens have become part of our lives for good now and have taken a lot of time and energy from reading a good book”, he concludes.

A show featuring action, scintillating accounts, diplomacy and the Aegean, Greek-Turkish affairs, and incredible stories that should not be missed.
