On Thursday, February 29th, 2024, 12:00 Ατηενσ time, the show “Imprint” with Fuli Zavitsanou, meets the ethnomusicologist Paraskevi Kanellatou in the studio of Voice of Greece, on the occasion of the 12th FolCalFest – Cross-Border Dialogues: Polyphony Relations, on Saturday, March 2nd at the “Mikis Theodorakis” Room at the Papagou-Cholargou Town Hall at 7 pm.
As the research director of the Hellenic Singing Research Center (ERKET) which organizes the Festival and also as the artistic director of the 12th FolCalFest (Folklore Vocal Festival), Paraskevi Kanellatou talks about the work and actions of ERKET and, of course, about the Festival program and objectives which this year focuses on the strong and living tradition of cross-border folk polyphony in Greece and Albania.
