Narratives: From proverbs to fairy tales (pt.3) | 15 June 2024, 17:00

There are some proverbs that we use very often in our everyday life. But do we ever wonder what the stories behind them are?

On Saturday 06.15.2024, the show “Narratives” presents the third and final part of the book “Ten Proverbs as Fairy Tales” by the author Afrouli Bersou, published by KEDROS.

The protagonists in our story are Katerina and Giorgos, two young siblings who spend their holidays in the village with their grandparents. Through Grandma’s tales, the children and with them our young and old listeners learn what the tales mean and how ten well-known proverbs were created!

The radio programme “Narratives – Stories and Fairy Tales for All Ages” presents a special historical radio documentary marking the anniversary of 28 October 1940. Aimed at secondary and tertiary education students, the broadcast features excerpts from Svolopoulos’s book “The Last Days of October.”
