“Our Town” makes a tribute to Odysseas Elytis | 11 Aug. 2024, 12:00

On Sunday, August 11, from 12:00 to 14:00 Athens time, the show “Our Town” will present a special tribute to Odysseas Elytis.
During the show, Themis Rodamitis will read selections from Elytis’s writings, including some lesser-known but representative texts that highlight the poet’s critical and contemplative spirit. The episode will also feature his poems, along with music and songs composed by renowned Greek composers, such as Theodorakis, Hadjidakis, Markopoulos, Andriopoulos, and Lagios, which have been widely loved and celebrated.
