Kostas Kapnisis (1920-2007) was a leading figure in Greek film soundtracks, perhaps the most significant of his kind. This distinction stems not only from the sheer number of films he scored (115 listed on IMDb) but also from their quality. He also composed a select number of distinctive songs and was a noted arranger. His cinematic work, particularly between 1959-1974, allowed him to showcase his multifaceted talent.
