Emeritus Professor of Linguistics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Christoforos Charalambakis, is this week’s “Remarkable Personality” on Mina Ralli‘s show. This Saturday, February 8, the esteemed linguist explains the reasons behind the timelessness, unity, and richness of meanings in the Greek language.

He also discusses the spelling and syntactic challenges of modern Greek, the myth of vocabulary impoverishment, and the interaction between ancient and contemporary Greek.
