Aikido isn’t just about technique. It’s about balance, awareness, and using energy wisely. It teaches us that force isn’t always the answer-sometimes, the best way forward is to move with the challenge rather than against it.
Morihei Ueshiba, the founder of Aikido, once said: “Aikido is not a technique to fight with or defeat an enemy. It is a way to reconcile the world and make human beings one family”. And honestly, in today’s world, we could all use a little more of that philosophy!
