On Tuesday, 15 July 2025, Viktoria Kavouriari welcomed Leda Shantala to the show “Human Landscapes.”
Her life resembles a continuous journey — from Athens to the far corners of the world and back again. Most often, from Athens to India, where for decades she traveled twice a year. She has always sought nature in its wildest form and meaningful contact with people from diverse cultures. She lived in Africa as the only white person in a remote village, where she studied dance therapy and was taught by local sages to embrace the many facets of humanity — respect, acceptance, and dignity for every way of life.
Today, she teaches yoga, dance therapy, and meditation, while continuing her lifelong study of Indian philosophy and culture. Her work centers on the universal human longing for truth, self-awareness, values, and peace.
